L de Lolita Lempicka

L de Lolita Lempicka was launched in 2006 and the fragrance was created by perfumer Maurice Roucel. The bottle was designed by Sylvie de France. From the perfume ad and the aquamarine, pebble heart shaped bottle with the golden net, this perfume reminds me a lot of the deep blue ocean and mermaids. Even though I have an affinity for mermaids, I'm not too fond of aquatic scent, which is why I steer clear from this perfume for years, thinking it as another harsh clean scent.  The only reason why I got this is because of the bottle, it's been discontinued for years and I wanted to get this before it's gone. So imagine my surprise when I first tried it on. Instead of being bombarded with screechy and sharp aquatic scent, I was left with a delicious oriental vanilla scent that conjures images of Christmas baking. I immediately regret not getting a full bottle of this years before it's been discontinued, lol. Top Notes Bitter orange,   Bergamot

EyeNlip Black Snail All In One Cream

A few weeks back, I received a package containing some lovely goodies from  Korean skincare brand EyeNlip. I was luckily chosen as one of the reviewer for Beautynet x EyeNlip Black Snail All In One Cream review event. Well not only did they send over the Black Snail All In One Cream, they even included the Salmon and Snail Moisture Essence Mask in the package, to my delight as I've always been into sheet mask 😍 I'm going to try out the 2 sheet masks later and write another review on that. For now, let's dive into the EyeNlip Black Snail All In One Cream.

Ingredients :

So I wasn't expecting the EyeNlip Black Snail All In One Cream to come in such a huge bottle. The sleek black bottle is heavy and the whole packaging looks rather elegant. Love love love 💕

If you're expecting this to have some funky smell, due to it being a snail cream, fear not as this doesn't smell weird at all. It has a mild floral scent that's not too noticeable and the scent dissipates after a while. It has the typical milky, white colour, with a texture that's slightly viscous and gooey. I was expecting this to leave a tacky finish on my skin, due to it being rather goopy, but strangely that doesn't happened at all. It actually works in moisturizing my skin without leaving any heaviness that I usually experienced with cream based moisturizer. My combination skin loves this as it's non oily and sinks easily on my skin, leaving them feeling smooth and hydrated.

The best thing about this is it came in a high volume of 100ml, so I get to slather this generously on my neck as well. So far, it has smooths out all the fine lines and my overall complexion seems to look a little brighter. It also evens out my skintone where previously I have some uneven skin tones due to excessive sun exposure. Some rough spots around my problematic T-zone area seems to lessen as well, and the sides of my nose no longer have those dry, scaly patches.

Overall I love this as it's the 1st snail product that I find suitable for my skin. Since I'm now at the age where deep wrinkles are going to start showing, eeeeekkk 😱 I'm going to add this on my list of skincare that I need to use continuously for combating ageing skin.
