L de Lolita Lempicka

L de Lolita Lempicka was launched in 2006 and the fragrance was created by perfumer Maurice Roucel. The bottle was designed by Sylvie de France. From the perfume ad and the aquamarine, pebble heart shaped bottle with the golden net, this perfume reminds me a lot of the deep blue ocean and mermaids. Even though I have an affinity for mermaids, I'm not too fond of aquatic scent, which is why I steer clear from this perfume for years, thinking it as another harsh clean scent.  The only reason why I got this is because of the bottle, it's been discontinued for years and I wanted to get this before it's gone. So imagine my surprise when I first tried it on. Instead of being bombarded with screechy and sharp aquatic scent, I was left with a delicious oriental vanilla scent that conjures images of Christmas baking. I immediately regret not getting a full bottle of this years before it's been discontinued, lol. Top Notes Bitter orange,   Bergamot

Otafuse 2016 - Day 2

I woke up with a bad sore throat on sunday and I already knew I'm going to be sick the whole day, lol. Nevertheless, me and Irene decided to went as Alice Liddell & The Queen Of Hearts. Since I was feeling extremely not well during the day, we didn't get to take too many pics with the other cosplayers.

And here's some of the cosplayers that came for the event ^.^

Otafuse 2016 Guest Hitomi from Home Cafe, Japan

Lastly a pic of me with Irene before she went on stage to perform as backup dancer for Hitomi. I didn't joined the crowd during the whole performance as my energy level had depleted to almost 0. Moral of the story is, don't eat KFC when you're suffering from early sign of sore throat, lolz.

Overall, it was an interesting event to visit, especially if you're into Anime, Comics, Games & Japan Pop Culture. If you missed out this time, do check it out next year as it's an annual event.
