L de Lolita Lempicka

L de Lolita Lempicka was launched in 2006 and the fragrance was created by perfumer Maurice Roucel. The bottle was designed by Sylvie de France. From the perfume ad and the aquamarine, pebble heart shaped bottle with the golden net, this perfume reminds me a lot of the deep blue ocean and mermaids. Even though I have an affinity for mermaids, I'm not too fond of aquatic scent, which is why I steer clear from this perfume for years, thinking it as another harsh clean scent.  The only reason why I got this is because of the bottle, it's been discontinued for years and I wanted to get this before it's gone. So imagine my surprise when I first tried it on. Instead of being bombarded with screechy and sharp aquatic scent, I was left with a delicious oriental vanilla scent that conjures images of Christmas baking. I immediately regret not getting a full bottle of this years before it's been discontinued, lol. Top Notes Bitter orange,   Bergamot

Sensi By Giorgio Armani

Sensi by Giorgio Armani is a floriental scent created by perfumer Alberto Morillas & Harry Fremont that was released in 2002. This perfume has been discontinued for many years, but luckily I was able to get this miniature bottle of Sensi from a perfume enthusiast who's clearing off some of her miniature collection.

    • I love non-linear scents that goes through layers of notes over time, and this is one of those scent. Sensi has a classic, old school vibe to it, the way perfumes used to smell in the 90s and early 2000s, the style of perfume that they rarely make these days. It starts off with a crisp, refreshing scent of lime that dissipate quickly as the floral heart notes came out. Then it slowly turns into a creamy, almondy jasmine scent. Jasmine do tend to get a little sharp and heavy at times, but on Sensi, it's a little softer and subtle. It slowly dries down to a powdery, soft, warm vanilla-like scent from the resinous benzoin note.

    • A refined and sophisticated scent, it's the best perfume to wear during colder, rainy days as it gives you a cozy feel with it's warmth enveloping you like a soft blanket. It melts with you skin and gives you a sensual, luxurious delight.
