Dehydrated skin is a common problem faced by many people, especially for those living in a country where the weather are hot and humid all year round. Fragrance is listed as one of the ingredients, there's a slight floral scent from it, though it's quite mild and doesn't smell too overpowering. I usually use a cotton pad to soak up the essence lotion before placing them on my face for a few minutes. On lazy days, I just pour some of it and slapped them on my face, lol. Both works well, so it really does depends on your preferred choice of applying it on.

Performance wise, it gives me soft and supple skin. My skin leans more towards sensitive/combination skin type, where there's tendency to be some dryness around certain parts of my skin, which is mostly around the edges of my nose. I noticed there's a lack of flaky-ness on my skin, it also gives me a well hydrated skin, as if I'd just had a facial mask the night before. 

I usually use this before using my serum, which is a bit more viscous. Somehow the combination seems to work well as it really prepped my skin well before my next skincare routine. I even managed to get away by skipping my day cream and using only this, prior my sunblock.
