L de Lolita Lempicka

L de Lolita Lempicka was launched in 2006 and the fragrance was created by perfumer Maurice Roucel. The bottle was designed by Sylvie de France. From the perfume ad and the aquamarine, pebble heart shaped bottle with the golden net, this perfume reminds me a lot of the deep blue ocean and mermaids. Even though I have an affinity for mermaids, I'm not too fond of aquatic scent, which is why I steer clear from this perfume for years, thinking it as another harsh clean scent.  The only reason why I got this is because of the bottle, it's been discontinued for years and I wanted to get this before it's gone. So imagine my surprise when I first tried it on. Instead of being bombarded with screechy and sharp aquatic scent, I was left with a delicious oriental vanilla scent that conjures images of Christmas baking. I immediately regret not getting a full bottle of this years before it's been discontinued, lol. Top Notes Bitter orange,   Bergamot

Lately, there's been a lot of buzz on Some By Mi AHA BHA PHA 30 Days skincare range. I'd seen a lot of reviews on social medias on their efficiency and just as I was about to get myself one of their product, the PR representative from Some By Mi contacted me and I was given a chance to choose one of their product in exchange for an honest review. Since watery products are my holy grail skincare picks, I choose Some By Mi AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Toner for my review. Some By Mi AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Toner is an exfoliating toner which contains natural tea tree extract, with AHA to slough off dead skin cells and impurities on skin surface, BHA to remove impurities and sebum inside pores and PHA to prevent moisture loss in skin. 

For those with acne problems, this would be a good choice for you as it contains Salicylic Acid and Tee Tree extract, both are good in combating acne. As for me, I don't have any major acne problems, what I do have are rough, dead skin cells, slight bumps, pesky blackheads and whiteheads. My large congested pores are a major problem too as I always suffer from clogged pores due to excess sebum. So I'm super curious on how this will work out on my skin.

Some By Mi AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Toner comes in a sleek green bottle packaging, with a small nozzle opening. 

Texture wise, this is very watery, with a mild minty scent, which is the usual scent that I associate with products that contain natural tea tree ingredient. I used this twice a day during the morning and the evening after cleansing my face. Soaking my cotton pads with adequate amount of it, I gently wipe them off on my face, you can also gently pat your skin for better absorption. The Miracle Toner absorbs easily on skin, without any tacky and sticky feeling. 

Initially I wanted to reduce my usage to once a day as others had commented that this feel rather drying on skin. But after using this for a while, I find this doesn't feel too drying on my combination skin. I also noticed some shrinkage on the size of my pores. My blackheads and whiteheads seems to lessen as well. As for moisturizing effect, it's quite minimal on my skin, and I still need to slather on my  essences and serums after using this. 

It's a good choice for those looking for acne care product as it's quite gentle on skin and doesn't feel as harsh as other exfoliating type product. It's also great for those with congested skin as it helps to control blackheads and whiteheads. My makeup also look much more smoother as it seems to clear up the bumpy, dead skin cells on the sides on my nose, overall it's a must try!
