L de Lolita Lempicka

L de Lolita Lempicka was launched in 2006 and the fragrance was created by perfumer Maurice Roucel. The bottle was designed by Sylvie de France. From the perfume ad and the aquamarine, pebble heart shaped bottle with the golden net, this perfume reminds me a lot of the deep blue ocean and mermaids. Even though I have an affinity for mermaids, I'm not too fond of aquatic scent, which is why I steer clear from this perfume for years, thinking it as another harsh clean scent.  The only reason why I got this is because of the bottle, it's been discontinued for years and I wanted to get this before it's gone. So imagine my surprise when I first tried it on. Instead of being bombarded with screechy and sharp aquatic scent, I was left with a delicious oriental vanilla scent that conjures images of Christmas baking. I immediately regret not getting a full bottle of this years before it's been discontinued, lol. Top Notes Bitter orange,   Bergamot

Benton Fermentation Mask Pack

If you're a korean skincare lover, you've probably heard of Benton. One of their famous skincare line is the Snail Bee line, which works miracles on plumping dehydrated, aging skin.

When Benton announced the released of their Fermentation skincare line, I was quite intrique as I've never tried out skincare that incorporates probiotics ingredients. I do however have tried a lot of fermented food. Besides the famous Kimchi, there are also other fermented local dish that are quite famous here is Sabah, which you should probably try out if you ever visit here 😆

I was ecstatic to be chosen as one of the reviewers for the Benton Fermentation Mask pack. I've always love using sheet mask, as it's been my fail-proof guide to cheat my way to glowing skin 😂

  • Contains 3 premium fermented ingredients, Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate, Lactobacillus/Collagen Ferment Filtrate and Bifida Ferment Lysate to provide intensive elasticity and nourishments from within the skin.
  • Fermentation process increases the density and absorption of active ingredients to provide skin's elastic glow and deepens skin improvement synergy
  • Anti wrinkle functional ingredients and Ceramide NP's plant derived ingredients that help to diminish the signs of aging

Recommended for those with sensitive, dry skin with fine lines, and also for those with uneven oil-water balance skin, all of which perfectly describes the conditions of my skin.

In order to get better mask absorption, I first wash my face with warm water in order to open up my pores, then I apply my usual toner before using this mask. The cotton derived sheet mask is very thin and feels very smooth. It adheres easily without tugging on my skin, and it fits quite well on my chubby, round  face 😬

Everytime I try a new sheet mask, the first 5 minutes is the most crucial time as my skin flares up easily whenever there's ingredients that my skin disagrees with. Thankfully this does not cause any irritation on skin and I continue to wait for another 15 minutes before taking it off. I was expecting an unusual scent from this due to the word fermentation, lol, but somehow it doesn't have any weird noticeable scent, it does however smells quite refreshing to me ☺️

This mask is soak filled with essence that even after 20 minutes of applying it on, I still end up with a moist sheet mask, so I apply the leftovers on my neck and arms. Better not waste them, right 😝

The essence in the mask does absorbs fast into my skin though it still leaves a slightly tacky feeling on skin, not too noticeable though as a quick massage on skin will solve the problem and it left me with much plumper, softer, glowing skin. As for anti wrinkle care, a 20 minute, one time used sheet mask will surely take some time to work it's magic, nevertheless I do believe in the long run it will be highly beneficial as it keeps my skin plump and hydrated, which is the key to younger looking skin.

After trying out Benton Fermentation Mask Pack and the many samples from their fermentation skincare line. I am tempted to get myself some of their products from the same fermentation line. I think it would be a good addition to my anti ageing skincare routine and I believe some of you will love it too!

Thank you Benton for sending this in exchange for an honest review. It's been a pleasure to try them out and I am delighted to discover Benton Fermentation skincare line. Perhaps in the future Benton will consider making an anti ageing neck mask? It would be great to have a special sheet mask for neck care 😊
