L de Lolita Lempicka

L de Lolita Lempicka was launched in 2006 and the fragrance was created by perfumer Maurice Roucel. The bottle was designed by Sylvie de France. From the perfume ad and the aquamarine, pebble heart shaped bottle with the golden net, this perfume reminds me a lot of the deep blue ocean and mermaids. Even though I have an affinity for mermaids, I'm not too fond of aquatic scent, which is why I steer clear from this perfume for years, thinking it as another harsh clean scent.  The only reason why I got this is because of the bottle, it's been discontinued for years and I wanted to get this before it's gone. So imagine my surprise when I first tried it on. Instead of being bombarded with screechy and sharp aquatic scent, I was left with a delicious oriental vanilla scent that conjures images of Christmas baking. I immediately regret not getting a full bottle of this years before it's been discontinued, lol. Top Notes Bitter orange,   Bergamot

Yves Rocher Jardins du Monde Macadamia Nuts Shower Cream

A few weeks back, me and my friend stopped by the Yves Rocher store in Suria Sabah, I'd been looking for a new shower cream when I saw these rows of Yves Rocher Jardins du Monde Shower Cream, a quick sniff led me to buy this delectable Macademia Nuts Shower Cream.

Macademia Nuts Shower Cream (RM22)

From the Yves Rocher Website :

"Discover the rich flavour and the enveloping and intense scent of Guatemala Macadamia Nuts. Enriched with Aloe Vera, the Macadamia Nuts from Guatemala Velvety Shower Cream gently cleans your skin."
Result: nourished and soft skin!

The Plus: its sweet fragrance. A new flip top practical and easy.

- Paraben free,
- More than 97% natural ingredients,
- pH neutral for skin,
- Easily biodegradable formula,
- Recyclable bottle.

I have always been a fan of gourmet scent, especially those with a sweet vanilla hint on it, and this smells exactly like that. It smells really really good, if you're a fan of vanilla and nutty scent, you're going to love this! This reminds me a lot of vanilla cake batter and vanilla ice cream, sweet and creamy...Yum!

The texture of the shower gel is actually quite creamy, it managed to keep my skin clean and hydrated at the same time, sometimes I don't even need to lather on lotion after taking a shower. The sweet vanilla nutty hint lingers for a while after shower, which smells really heavenly, hehehe.

This is definitely the best shower cream I'd tried so far, it's really great in keeping skin hydrated especially if you have dry and sensitive skin. Do check this out if you haven't try it : )
