L de Lolita Lempicka

L de Lolita Lempicka was launched in 2006 and the fragrance was created by perfumer Maurice Roucel. The bottle was designed by Sylvie de France. From the perfume ad and the aquamarine, pebble heart shaped bottle with the golden net, this perfume reminds me a lot of the deep blue ocean and mermaids. Even though I have an affinity for mermaids, I'm not too fond of aquatic scent, which is why I steer clear from this perfume for years, thinking it as another harsh clean scent.  The only reason why I got this is because of the bottle, it's been discontinued for years and I wanted to get this before it's gone. So imagine my surprise when I first tried it on. Instead of being bombarded with screechy and sharp aquatic scent, I was left with a delicious oriental vanilla scent that conjures images of Christmas baking. I immediately regret not getting a full bottle of this years before it's been discontinued, lol. Top Notes Bitter orange,   Bergamot ...

Crème Simon 7 Day Brightening Challenge

Crème Simon, the French Beauty Skincare was founded in 1860. Crème Simon offers simple yet powerful skin-care and climate-care solutions that are without parabens, silicones, alcohol and harmful preservatives.

Crème Simon products are not yet available here in KK, so these samples are couriered over by Crème Simon MY during a special sample giveaway in conjunction with their 7 Day Brightening Challenge contest.

The 2 products samples are Gentle Double Exfoliation Scrub & Lymphatic Contouring and Lifting Gel. Apparently these 2 products are to be combined together in the ratio of 1:3, before using them as an exfoliating massage gel.

The 1st thing I'd noticed after pouring them out is their scent. These products smells really lovely, in a perfumey kind of way. They remind me a lot of my Sandalwood fragrance oil which I loved to use on my oil burner years ago.

This exfoliating massage gel is super gentle on my skin, the combination of Lymphatic Contouring and Lifting Gel with the Gentle Double Exfoliation Scrub makes it easier to massage my whole face as it glides easily on skin.

The 7 Day Brightening Challenge left me with a slightly brighter skin which was not that obvious since I did a lot of gardening at home, which means I'm always exposed to the sun, lolz. But it did left me with a more even skintone and helps unclogged my pores, which made my skin less oily than before.

Crème Simon products are oil-free, paraben free, silicone free & with over 90% natural ingredients.  Their climate customised products offers light weight skincare for us who live in a hot and humid country. So it doesn't feel heavy at all on our skin.  For me, natural products have always been my preference, so I definitely would recommend this products for all !
