L de Lolita Lempicka

L de Lolita Lempicka was launched in 2006 and the fragrance was created by perfumer Maurice Roucel. The bottle was designed by Sylvie de France. From the perfume ad and the aquamarine, pebble heart shaped bottle with the golden net, this perfume reminds me a lot of the deep blue ocean and mermaids. Even though I have an affinity for mermaids, I'm not too fond of aquatic scent, which is why I steer clear from this perfume for years, thinking it as another harsh clean scent.  The only reason why I got this is because of the bottle, it's been discontinued for years and I wanted to get this before it's gone. So imagine my surprise when I first tried it on. Instead of being bombarded with screechy and sharp aquatic scent, I was left with a delicious oriental vanilla scent that conjures images of Christmas baking. I immediately regret not getting a full bottle of this years before it's been discontinued, lol. Top Notes Bitter orange,   Bergamot

The Face Shop Real Nature Calendula Souci Mask

The Face Shop Real Nature Calendula Souci Mask is one of the beauty products that I'd received from 0.8L (Point Eight Liter), along with the Nature Republic EXO Nature & Hand Cream which I'd written a review on my previous post.

I'd always love The Face Shop wide choices of assorted sheet masks that are designed to cater different types of skin. For this Calendula Souci Mask, it targets mainly in moisturizing dry hydrated skin. It contains essence of calendula flower that provides soothing, care of rough skin and dead skin cells to create smooth skin.


Applying sheet mask is one of the fastest way to get that healthy glow on your skin. I usually apply sheet mask for 15-20 minutes before taking it off. Sheet masks are usually drenched in generous amount of watery essence, which means there'll be plenty of leftovers on your skin even after applying the mask on for 20 minutes. For me, I would gently massage the excess essence on my face and neck.


The first thing I'd noticed after putting this Calendula Souci Mask on is it's scent. It has a nice floral scent to it which I really love. Lately I've been following a healthy skin regime, so my skin are currently not suffering from any dryness, which means I can't  really attest to the effectiveness of this mask on dry skin. But on my combination skin, it works well in keeping my skin feeling hydrated without any irritation on my sensitive skin. Another plus is it's paraben free! For now I am tempted to try the other variants of The Face Shop Real Nature as I really love the eye catching packaging  ^.^
