L de Lolita Lempicka

L de Lolita Lempicka was launched in 2006 and the fragrance was created by perfumer Maurice Roucel. The bottle was designed by Sylvie de France. From the perfume ad and the aquamarine, pebble heart shaped bottle with the golden net, this perfume reminds me a lot of the deep blue ocean and mermaids. Even though I have an affinity for mermaids, I'm not too fond of aquatic scent, which is why I steer clear from this perfume for years, thinking it as another harsh clean scent.  The only reason why I got this is because of the bottle, it's been discontinued for years and I wanted to get this before it's gone. So imagine my surprise when I first tried it on. Instead of being bombarded with screechy and sharp aquatic scent, I was left with a delicious oriental vanilla scent that conjures images of Christmas baking. I immediately regret not getting a full bottle of this years before it's been discontinued, lol. Top Notes Bitter orange,   Bergamot

Creamy texture that lathers easily into foam, this cleanser has a mild rosemary essential oil scent to it. It cleanse deep into pores to remove dirt and oil, it also removes makeup easily.

Marketed as Hypoallegenic, it doesn't seem to cause any reactions or bumps to appear on my skin, and even though it's a slightly alkaline cleanser, it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry and tight. It does however leaves my skin feeling clean, purifies and refreshed. It also brightens up my overall complexion.

Review :

This has a slippery, watery texture that absorbs easily on skin. It has no noticeable scent and feels very light on skin. Even though it's lightweight, it actually works well at hydrating my combination skin.

Recently I'd tried out a new skincare product which unfortunately does not work on my skin, it actually caused the skin around my nose to flake off. So I've been diligently applying sheet mask to counter that problem. Then I would apply a small amount of this serum to moisturize my skin. So far I'm loving the hydrating effect of this serum on my skin. It definitely stops the skin around my nose from further flacking off.

The packaging comes in a 30ml plastic airless pump applicator bottle.

The samples that were included in the package are Benton Deep Green Tea Lotion, which I actually quite like and will definitely get it in the near future. It feels very soothing and cooling on my sensitive skin. So far I'm loving this line as it doesn't feel too heavy on my dehydrated, combination skin which tends to be quite oily at times.
