L de Lolita Lempicka

L de Lolita Lempicka was launched in 2006 and the fragrance was created by perfumer Maurice Roucel. The bottle was designed by Sylvie de France. From the perfume ad and the aquamarine, pebble heart shaped bottle with the golden net, this perfume reminds me a lot of the deep blue ocean and mermaids. Even though I have an affinity for mermaids, I'm not too fond of aquatic scent, which is why I steer clear from this perfume for years, thinking it as another harsh clean scent.  The only reason why I got this is because of the bottle, it's been discontinued for years and I wanted to get this before it's gone. So imagine my surprise when I first tried it on. Instead of being bombarded with screechy and sharp aquatic scent, I was left with a delicious oriental vanilla scent that conjures images of Christmas baking. I immediately regret not getting a full bottle of this years before it's been discontinued, lol. Top Notes Bitter orange,   Bergamot

When it comes to makeup, I always prefer the natural look. Hence the reason why I always prefer wearing BB cream as it always appear more natural on the skin in comparison to wearing foundation.

So I was super excited when Natta Cosme send this parcel containing Klairs Illuminating Supple Blemish Cream for me to review.

Here's a little peak inside the box, which contains the Klairs Illuminating Supple Blemish Cream, Cerro Qreen powder puff ....

and a vintage bow hair claw which I really love 💕

Not to forget the super cute french vintage looking envelope.

Klairs Illuminating Supple Blemish Cream (RM89)

The Klairs Illuminating Supple Blemish Cream comes in a tube size of 40ml. It's a multi functional skin care and makeup product.

An upgraded version of BB cream, the addition of hyaluronic acid adds moisturizing effect and sebum control powder keeps skin soft and oil free. It also has an SPF40 PA++, perfect for protection against UV rays.

The texture of the blemish cream is quite creamy. So blending it won't be quite so difficult...

Especially when you have this Cerro Qreen powder puff as it's super soft and made the whole blending process so much smoother.

Cerro Qreen Powder Puff (RM4.90)

Creamy in texture, it glides on easily on my skin

The Klairs Illuminating Supple Blemish Cream gives an instant brightening effect on my hands, which looks super natural to me, as it only lighten within 1-2 shades of my original skin tone.

And here's a shot of me before and after applying it on my face, I wanted a more natural look, so this is done using just less than a dime size of the Klairs Illuminating Supple Blemish Cream

When it comes to BB Cream, the most dreaded thing I detest the most is having a white cast face, due to the fact I have tan skin and most of them don't seem to blend quite well with my skin tone.

Luckily I did not face this problem with Klairs Illuminating Supple Blemish Cream, my skin appeared rosier and brighter without any unatural whiter tone. Yay to natural healthier looking skin!

Even though it has a creamy texture, it doesn't feel heavy nor does it makes my skin oily. My overall skin appeared much more smoother and even. It's so light I don't even feel it on my skin, it also doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, which is always another plus for me.

Since I don't have any serious undereye circles and pimples, the light coverage of this is just perfect for my skin : )
