L de Lolita Lempicka

L de Lolita Lempicka was launched in 2006 and the fragrance was created by perfumer Maurice Roucel. The bottle was designed by Sylvie de France. From the perfume ad and the aquamarine, pebble heart shaped bottle with the golden net, this perfume reminds me a lot of the deep blue ocean and mermaids. Even though I have an affinity for mermaids, I'm not too fond of aquatic scent, which is why I steer clear from this perfume for years, thinking it as another harsh clean scent.  The only reason why I got this is because of the bottle, it's been discontinued for years and I wanted to get this before it's gone. So imagine my surprise when I first tried it on. Instead of being bombarded with screechy and sharp aquatic scent, I was left with a delicious oriental vanilla scent that conjures images of Christmas baking. I immediately regret not getting a full bottle of this years before it's been discontinued, lol. Top Notes Bitter orange,   Bergamot

Snow White & The Evil Queen

Back in September, we did our cosplay photoshoot based on the classic animated musical fantasy film produced by Walt Disney Productions. This was done a few hours before we went to Otafuse, a cosplay event held yearly in Suria Sabah.

This time, we were not keen on the idea of doing outdoor photoshoot as our costumes were a bit heavy and we don't really wanna attract too much attention 😅 So this photoshoot is done in Irene's living room, with her dog, Robin intensely watching that little birdie on my hand the entire time. lol.

A little help from Photoshop and suddenly I'm in the middle of a thick forest 😂

I always thought Irene suits villanous characters better because she looks more natural acting all serious and cold. As can be seen from this picture, lolz.

A change of background that's much more fitting for a queen 😂

Acting all prim and proper at Snow White's Cottage 😂

And lastly a photoshop picture of The Evil Queen, creeping people out from her castle balcony 😱

Robin, Irene's french bulldog reminds me of a little pig. He's super heavy and has a habit of biting people's toes everytime he gets a little too excited. Since our dresses were super long, we managed to escape from his extra friendly attack that day. But he did managed to lick off some of our makeup, ewwwwww 😂

Overall we had a fun time portraying Snow White & The Evil Queen 💕
