L de Lolita Lempicka

L de Lolita Lempicka was launched in 2006 and the fragrance was created by perfumer Maurice Roucel. The bottle was designed by Sylvie de France. From the perfume ad and the aquamarine, pebble heart shaped bottle with the golden net, this perfume reminds me a lot of the deep blue ocean and mermaids. Even though I have an affinity for mermaids, I'm not too fond of aquatic scent, which is why I steer clear from this perfume for years, thinking it as another harsh clean scent.  The only reason why I got this is because of the bottle, it's been discontinued for years and I wanted to get this before it's gone. So imagine my surprise when I first tried it on. Instead of being bombarded with screechy and sharp aquatic scent, I was left with a delicious oriental vanilla scent that conjures images of Christmas baking. I immediately regret not getting a full bottle of this years before it's been discontinued, lol. Top Notes Bitter orange,   Bergamot

Atopalm Real Barrier Extreme Cream

If you have really dry skin, so dry that it cause itchyness and an overall sense of discomfort, you might want to give Atopalm a try, a korean skincare brand that specially caters to those with sensitive and dry skin.


The cream came with it's own spatula, which makes it easy for us to scoop out the product without having us dipping our fingers inside the jar. Texture wise, this has a thick, gooey texture, with a slightly medicinal scent.


Marketed as a heavy duty moisturizing cream, this is perfect for dry and dehydrated skin. On my combination skin though, it can feel a little heavy, which is why I tend to skip this during the day and only use it during the night. 


The best thing about applying this at night is it absorbs quickly into skin and works in relieving dry and tight skin instantly, without leaving a layer of oily slick. However if you have oily skin, this might feel a little heavy on your skin.

I've been using this as a neck cream too as I find it works better than my other creams. It works great in moisturizing my neck and decolletage, making them feel soft and smooth with noticeably less wrinkles? lol. Overall it's a great addition to my anti ageing skincare regime.
