L de Lolita Lempicka

L de Lolita Lempicka was launched in 2006 and the fragrance was created by perfumer Maurice Roucel. The bottle was designed by Sylvie de France. From the perfume ad and the aquamarine, pebble heart shaped bottle with the golden net, this perfume reminds me a lot of the deep blue ocean and mermaids. Even though I have an affinity for mermaids, I'm not too fond of aquatic scent, which is why I steer clear from this perfume for years, thinking it as another harsh clean scent.  The only reason why I got this is because of the bottle, it's been discontinued for years and I wanted to get this before it's gone. So imagine my surprise when I first tried it on. Instead of being bombarded with screechy and sharp aquatic scent, I was left with a delicious oriental vanilla scent that conjures images of Christmas baking. I immediately regret not getting a full bottle of this years before it's been discontinued, lol. Top Notes Bitter orange,   Bergamot

Kiss Me x Bifesta Collaboration Box

Kiss Me and Bifesta are two well known japanese beauty and cosmetics brand that I'm quite familiar with as I've tried out their products before. Kiss Me are famously known for their eye makeup products and Bifesta for their makeup remover and cleansing line.


Now this special box is a collaboration between Kiss Me x Bifesta and I've luckily won it from Watsons giveaway. It's been a while since I've won this and so far I haven't seen this box being sold anywhere, however the products inside the box are still available and they can be purchased individually.

𝐊𝐢𝐬𝐬 𝐌𝐞 𝐱 𝐁𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐱
The box contains 3 makeup products from Kiss Me and 1 makeup remover from Bifesta.


Step 1 : 
Kiss Me Heavy Rotation Powder Eyebrow & 3D Nose (01 Light Brown)

This eyebrow and shading palette is available in 3 different shades : 01 Light Brown, 02 Natural Brown and 03 Ash Brown. 01 Light Brown is the one included in the box, which personally doesn't suit my dark hair and brows, as this palette actually made me look kinda washed out 😆 

However it does a great job in contouring my nose and brow bones. Best of all it contains sebum asborbing powder and it's waterproof, so it's quite long lasting on my combination-oily skin.


Step 2 : 
Kiss Me Heavy Rotation Eyebrow Pencil (04 Natural Brown)

This waterproof, 1.6mm ultra-fine pencil runs smoothy on skin. It helps to define and fills up gaps on eyebrows. It's quite long lasting considering it doesn't melt easily on hot sunny days.


Step 3 : 
Kiss Me Heavy Rotation Coloring Eyebrow (04 Natural Brown)


I have dark black brows and this works to lighten them up a few shades. Even though the colour swatch looks a little too light on my skin, it actually looks quite natural on my brows. It sets perfectly on brows, leaving a smooth powdery-like finish. I was expecting this to dissapper by noon, but it actually stays on despite me sweating and my skin turning oily as hours go by. 


Step 4 : 
Bifesta BRIGHTUP Cleansing Lotion

This water-based makeup remover removes all the Kiss Me products easily, it also works great in removing face makeup and lip colour. However it doesn't perform that well on my waterproof mascara, which is to be expected as I need to use eye makeup remover to be able to remove them effortlessly. 


Overall I am so glad to have discover more about these japanese beauty products. The quality are great and the prices are quite affordable. Not to mention they will definitely help to elevate your makeup game 😉
