L de Lolita Lempicka

L de Lolita Lempicka was launched in 2006 and the fragrance was created by perfumer Maurice Roucel. The bottle was designed by Sylvie de France. From the perfume ad and the aquamarine, pebble heart shaped bottle with the golden net, this perfume reminds me a lot of the deep blue ocean and mermaids. Even though I have an affinity for mermaids, I'm not too fond of aquatic scent, which is why I steer clear from this perfume for years, thinking it as another harsh clean scent.  The only reason why I got this is because of the bottle, it's been discontinued for years and I wanted to get this before it's gone. So imagine my surprise when I first tried it on. Instead of being bombarded with screechy and sharp aquatic scent, I was left with a delicious oriental vanilla scent that conjures images of Christmas baking. I immediately regret not getting a full bottle of this years before it's been discontinued, lol. Top Notes Bitter orange,   Bergamot

Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask

If you're a big fan of sheet mask, you'd probably knew all about Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask, previously known as It's Real Squeeze Mask. A friend of mine who knew how much I love using sheet mask had kindly brought back some of the latest sheet mask from Innisfree. And here's my thoughts about them.

Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask - Rose

Description : This refreshing water-type real mask, enriched with moisture from fragrant roses, leaves the skin smooth and radiant.

This has a mild, natural rose scent, which probably won't bother most people, even for people like me, who's usually not into rosey scent.

I find watery type sheet mask suits more towards those with oily skin type. It's refreshing and soothing, with adequate hydration on my combination skin. It has a brightening effect on dull and lackluster skin, and the effect stays on the next day. Overall it's quite good though I would'd say it's super hydrating.

Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask - Acai Berry

Description :  This rich cream-type real mask, enriched with abundant nourishment of thoroughly squeezed acai berries, leaves the skin resilient and full of life.

This has a fresh and citrusy scent that might seem a little artificial, but still great smelling to me.

I love the consistency of this mask, it's emulsion-like, which is slightly thicker than the watery-type sheet mask. Since Acai Berry is a superfruit that's chockfull of antioxidants, it's great for keeping skin looking youthful. Due to it's heavy consistency, it does took a while for it to fully sink on my skin. For those with oily skin, you might want to skip this mask, though it works really great in brightening my overall complexion and keeping my skin soft and plump.

Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask - Manuka Honey

Description :  A mask made with nutrient-rich manuka honey to moisturize dry, rough skin.

My favourite out of the 3, this has a mild fresh honey scent to it. It has a cooling effect, which feels very soothing on my skin. Perfect for calming skin as honey has anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties. Though it is less heavier than the Acai Berry mask, it still works well in hydrating my dehydrated combination skin. Overall I love these mask thought people who are used to using thin-like cellulose mask might find the texture of these mask to be a little thicker on skin, therefore a bit rougher.
