L de Lolita Lempicka

L de Lolita Lempicka was launched in 2006 and the fragrance was created by perfumer Maurice Roucel. The bottle was designed by Sylvie de France. From the perfume ad and the aquamarine, pebble heart shaped bottle with the golden net, this perfume reminds me a lot of the deep blue ocean and mermaids. Even though I have an affinity for mermaids, I'm not too fond of aquatic scent, which is why I steer clear from this perfume for years, thinking it as another harsh clean scent.  The only reason why I got this is because of the bottle, it's been discontinued for years and I wanted to get this before it's gone. So imagine my surprise when I first tried it on. Instead of being bombarded with screechy and sharp aquatic scent, I was left with a delicious oriental vanilla scent that conjures images of Christmas baking. I immediately regret not getting a full bottle of this years before it's been discontinued, lol. Top Notes Bitter orange,   Bergamot

Us On Earth 6-Effector Soft Marine Water Essence

A few months back, I was picked as one of the lucky reviewer for a korean skincare brand, Us On Earth to review their 6-Effector Soft Marine Water Essence. The giveaway was organized by 0.8L Malaysia, who have held countless giveaways for korean beauty enthusiast, and if you're one of them, do check out 0.8L Malaysia facebook and instagram because you can be the next reviewer too ☺️

Once the reviewers are picked, 0.8L would then shipped out the product directly from Korea. Unfortunately due to Malaysia Movement Control Order, my package was stucked in the courier office for months as I wasn't able to collect it and I'm too far away for them to send it personally 😂 Nevertheless I did finally receive my parcel and here's a little review on the product 💙


Us On Earth 6-Effector Soft Marine Water Essence contains no distilled water, it contains 85% deep ocean water from Donghae with rose water and algae extract. It also contains Vitamin B3, B5 and C with EGF.  


After cleansing and toning, gently pat the essence into your face by using your fingertips. For me I love applying this with cotton pads, as it absorbs faster into my skin and it's less hassle than the patting motion, lol. 


The light-weight texture makes it really easy to penetrate my skin, and there's no feeling of stickiness. I have combination skin and this works in balancing the oil and moisture level on my skin. My face feels much more hydrated without experiencing any dehydrated tautness. Best thing about watery essence is I rarely suffers any breakouts from them, which makes this a great option for those with oily, sensitive and blemish prone skin. 


This has certified whitening and wrinkle care, so far I haven't noticed any noticeable effects on fine lines, and the weather here has been so hot it's making it impossible for me to get anything less than tan 😂


Packed in a degradable plastic packaging and PCR bottle cap, this will be a great addition to an eco friendly skincare regimen ☺️
