L de Lolita Lempicka

L de Lolita Lempicka was launched in 2006 and the fragrance was created by perfumer Maurice Roucel. The bottle was designed by Sylvie de France. From the perfume ad and the aquamarine, pebble heart shaped bottle with the golden net, this perfume reminds me a lot of the deep blue ocean and mermaids. Even though I have an affinity for mermaids, I'm not too fond of aquatic scent, which is why I steer clear from this perfume for years, thinking it as another harsh clean scent.  The only reason why I got this is because of the bottle, it's been discontinued for years and I wanted to get this before it's gone. So imagine my surprise when I first tried it on. Instead of being bombarded with screechy and sharp aquatic scent, I was left with a delicious oriental vanilla scent that conjures images of Christmas baking. I immediately regret not getting a full bottle of this years before it's been discontinued, lol. Top Notes Bitter orange,   Bergamot

Tiffany & Co Eau de Parfum Intense

I've seen rave reviews on this perfume but somehow I never thought of trying it out, thinking it'll be another sweet, sticky syrupy scent. I do however had the chance to try out a tester of the Tiffany & Co debut perfume, which is a citrusy fresh scent that unfortunately has a really weak sillage and the iris in it smells a little too dry and soapy on me, which I really detest 😂

As I am currently in the midst of indulging myself in powdery scents, I've been doing a little research on some of the best powdery scents and Tiffany & Co Eau de Parfum Intense is listed as one of them. So I decided to try out a miniature bottle of it.

Top Notes
Pink Pepper, Mandarin Leaf, Pear

Middle Notes
Iris, Jasmine, Rose

Base Notes
Amber, Benzoin, Musk, Carrot, Cashmeran, Vanilla

Tiffany & Co Eau de Parfum Intense somehow has a cool, citrusy, fresh green opening, with a strong iris scent that slowly turns into a musky, sweet floral blend with amber and vanillic drydown. The scent gets cozier and warmer the longer you wear it. Though it has medium sillage and doesn't projects that far, it does last longer than the previous  Tiffany & Co Eau de Parfum, and others might easily caught whiff of it as you walked pass by.

A classic and elegant scent, though a little bit old school and understated, it's perfectly suited  for those who are into powdery, musky floral scents.
