L de Lolita Lempicka

L de Lolita Lempicka was launched in 2006 and the fragrance was created by perfumer Maurice Roucel. The bottle was designed by Sylvie de France. From the perfume ad and the aquamarine, pebble heart shaped bottle with the golden net, this perfume reminds me a lot of the deep blue ocean and mermaids. Even though I have an affinity for mermaids, I'm not too fond of aquatic scent, which is why I steer clear from this perfume for years, thinking it as another harsh clean scent.  The only reason why I got this is because of the bottle, it's been discontinued for years and I wanted to get this before it's gone. So imagine my surprise when I first tried it on. Instead of being bombarded with screechy and sharp aquatic scent, I was left with a delicious oriental vanilla scent that conjures images of Christmas baking. I immediately regret not getting a full bottle of this years before it's been discontinued, lol. Top Notes Bitter orange,   Bergamot

Carolina Herrera Good Girl

Carolina Herrera Good Girl was created by Louise Turner in 2016. The perfume comes in an elegant perfume bottle in the shape of a stiletto.

Top Notes 
Almond, Coffee, Bergamot, Lemon

Middle Notes 
Tuberose, Jasmine Sambac, Orris, Orange Blossom, Bulgarian Rose

Base Notes 
Tonka bean, Cacao, Vanilla, Praline, Sandalwood, Amber, Musk, Cashmere wood, Patchouli, Cinnamon, Cedar


I was expecting this to smell a little too loud on me based on the sexy stiletto packaging itself. However it's a well rounded scent, perfectly balance and never too harsh. It's a sweet white floral scent with a touch of gourmand and little bit of spice. My skin loves floral notes, and this perfume seems to give off a sweet alluring scent of white floral bouquet of jasmine and tuberose, with playful notes of almond and citrus. Sadly I did not detect any coffee note from this. The scent then slowly gets a little darker and sultry, powdery soft yet almost masculine in a way as you're barely able to detect the opening sweet notes. 


This strangely smells really good in hot weather, however it doesn't last as long as I would love it to. There's only faint traces of it on my skin after 4 hours though the projection is quite good. A crowd pleasure, it's  a warm and sensual scent that'll surely turns heads.
