Pyunkang Yul Calming Line

Pyunkang Yul is a korean skincare brand that I'll be reviewing today. I was kindly gifted the Pyunkang Yul Calming Line by GlamStory in exchange for an honest review a month ago.

A  foam cleanser with a low pH formula to provide deep cleansing while being gentle on the skin.

Key Ingredients :

• White willow bark extract - Controls excess sebum production. 
• BHA - To dissolve dead skin cells and impurities to keep pores clean.
• 5 Centella Asiatica ingredients, Tea Tree extract and Honeysuckle flower extract - To reduce inflammation, calm redness and protect the skin barrier.
• 5 Hyaluronic acids - Prevent dryness and maintain moisture deep within the skin.

Foamy and fluffy, I love how it thoroughly cleanse away dirt and impurities without stripping off my skin. My skin doesn't feel dry and tight afterwards. Despite being a gentle cleanser, it actually works in deep cleansing the skin and I've noticed my skin felt a lot less oilier during the day too after using this in the morning. However it doesn't work that well in removing makeup and I need to double cleanse to fully get rid of those waterproof makeup, which I don't mind doing 😁

This feels very lightweight, absorbing fast into skin without leaving any sticky feeling. It's great for controlling oil though it doesn't feel too hydrating on my combi skin if I only applied a single layer of this, so I usually layered this on. 

Despite containing AHA and PHA, this is very gentle and doesn't seem to cause any stinging sensation to my skin. However I didn't noticed much exfoliation on my skin. Overall it's a decent toner that's probably more suited towards those with sensitive and oily skin.

I love this cream! It's creamy texture doesn't feel too heavy and it leaves my skin smooth and supple. There's a slight filmy finish that takes a little while to fully absorb, so I usually apply this during night time, as I find it works really well in hydrating my skin overnight. Cream moisturizers tends to clog my pores, however this is lightweight enough for my skin and doesn't seem to cause any of that problem.

The Pyunkang Yul Calming Line is a minimalist skincare line that caters towards those with sensitive, acne-prone skin, who are in need of a little bit of gentle exfoliation and skin calming in their skincare routine. Those with combination and oily skin will love these too as they're  lightweight and doesn't seem to cause any clogged pores. The prices are quite affordable too, perfect for skincare beginners.
