Glam Story x Mary & May Serums

Mary & May is a clean beauty korean skincare brand that contains only safe and clean ingredients. I've previously tried out their Niacinamide + Chaenomeles Sinensis Serum and quite enjoyed the benefits it has on my skin. This time, I'll be trying out 4 of Mary & May Serums, including the one that I've previously tried before. Glam Story has kindly gifted these in exchange for an honest review and here are my thoughts on them.

𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘 & 𝐌𝐀𝐘 - 𝐈𝐝𝐞𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐞 + 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐱 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐮𝐦

𝑩𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒇𝒊𝒕 :

Reverse signs of aging with this hypoallergenic serum formulated with 1,000ppm of idebenone and 20% blackberry complex, two powerful antioxidants that also protect skin from environmental irritation.

I like the runny texture, it's super lightweight and has fast absorption for an anti-ageing serum. It provides adequate hydration on my combi skin and doesn't feel greasy at all. It's a decent serum, great as an antioxidant serum but it'll take a while to see results on my fine lines and wrinkles. 

𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘 & 𝐌𝐀𝐘 - 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐮𝐦

𝑩𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒇𝒊𝒕 :

Containing 95% centella asiatica extract, this antibacterial serum soothes irritated skin while boosting skin regeneration and enhancing elasticity.

This has the most viscous texture out of the 4 and it took a while for me to dispense the proper amount of serum for my skin 😆 Despite that, I'm quite amazed with how fast it's gel-like texture sinks into my skin. This feels very soothing on skin, perfect for calming skin redness.

Formulated with 2% Niacinamide and 93% Chaenomeles Sinensis Extract to brighten up dull and unbalanced skin.

I have previously tried out this serum and this is my second bottle. It's great for combi-oily skin as it helps to control sebum, making skin appears less oily during the day. I've noticed less breakouts while using this before, though it's a decent serum, I rarely reach out for it as I prefer a more hydrating serum option for my combi skin.

𝑩𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒇𝒊𝒕 :

Minimal yet effective, this serum maximizes its soothing benefits with 85% houttuynia cordata extract and 9.7% tea tree extract. 

𝑹𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 : 4.5/5

This has a runny texture and it's very lightweight on skin. Like all the other serums from Mary & May, this has the same eraser-like scent which I don't mind 😆 An angry looking pimple pops out the other week and this helps a lot to reduce the redness. It also seems to make them heal so much faster. Out of the 4 serums, this has the most noticeable effect on my skin and my personal fave ❣️ 

Overall Mary & May serums are great options for those with sensitive skin as they're gentle on skin and doesn't seem to easily trigger any allergic reactions. Althought each of their serum targets different skin problems, I find their gel-like texture will easily suits any combi-oily skin type, as they're very lightweight and not greasy at all.

They're quite affordable too, with prices ranging from RM34-RM39 for a 30ml glass dropper bottle. A budget friendly option especially for skincare beginners.
