L de Lolita Lempicka

L de Lolita Lempicka was launched in 2006 and the fragrance was created by perfumer Maurice Roucel. The bottle was designed by Sylvie de France. From the perfume ad and the aquamarine, pebble heart shaped bottle with the golden net, this perfume reminds me a lot of the deep blue ocean and mermaids. Even though I have an affinity for mermaids, I'm not too fond of aquatic scent, which is why I steer clear from this perfume for years, thinking it as another harsh clean scent.  The only reason why I got this is because of the bottle, it's been discontinued for years and I wanted to get this before it's gone. So imagine my surprise when I first tried it on. Instead of being bombarded with screechy and sharp aquatic scent, I was left with a delicious oriental vanilla scent that conjures images of Christmas baking. I immediately regret not getting a full bottle of this years before it's been discontinued, lol. Top Notes Bitter orange,   Bergamot

Benton Beer Yeast Shampoo

Benton has recently released their 1st haircare product, the Benton Beer Yeast shampoo which is an anti-hair loss shampoo. This product contains beer yeast extract which apparently is rich in biotin and selenium, which are popularly known for boosting hair growth. Well I've always been into unusual beauty care ingredients 😆 So here's my review on Benton Beer Yeast Shampoo, which Benton has kindly gifted in exchange for an honest review.

I love the scent of this shampoo, minty fresh with a beer-like scent. It has a cooling effect and feels very comfortable on dry, itchy scalp. The scent doesn't feel overwhelming at all and it doesn't make your hair smells like beer 🍻 lol.

This uses nature-derived surfactant which is much more gentle on scalp and hair. It lathers easily and helps detangle my hair. However it doesn't fully solves my dandruff problems though I did noticed there's less scalp itchy-ness after using this and my hair ends doesn't look too straw-like despite being long overdue for a trim.

Overall this is still a good shampoo to try if you're looking for a gentle, scalp care shampoo that treats dry and itchy scalp, not to mention the size is huge too especially for an anti-hair loss shampoo. I actually feel that guys will appreciate this too because the scent is quite unisex and doesn't feel too feminine to my nose. It also feels great on hot days as it helps to cool down scalp.
