L de Lolita Lempicka

L de Lolita Lempicka was launched in 2006 and the fragrance was created by perfumer Maurice Roucel. The bottle was designed by Sylvie de France. From the perfume ad and the aquamarine, pebble heart shaped bottle with the golden net, this perfume reminds me a lot of the deep blue ocean and mermaids. Even though I have an affinity for mermaids, I'm not too fond of aquatic scent, which is why I steer clear from this perfume for years, thinking it as another harsh clean scent.  The only reason why I got this is because of the bottle, it's been discontinued for years and I wanted to get this before it's gone. So imagine my surprise when I first tried it on. Instead of being bombarded with screechy and sharp aquatic scent, I was left with a delicious oriental vanilla scent that conjures images of Christmas baking. I immediately regret not getting a full bottle of this years before it's been discontinued, lol. Top Notes Bitter orange,   Bergamot

Dr. Althea Anastatica Skin Conditioning Toner

The brand Dr. Althea has one of the best aesthetic packaging I've seen so far. The overall packaging is sleek, minimalist and looks very elegant to my eyes. Their products outer box packaging all have beautiful plants or landscape scenery which I find very eye-catching and definitely sets them apart from other brands.

Today I'll be reviewing one of their toners, Dr. Althea Anastatica Skin Conditioning Toner. I have been wanting to try this for a while, so I was over the moon when they offer me to choose any of their products in exchange for an honest review.

Watery and lightweight, this is perfect for me as it absorbs fast into skin without leaving any feeling of tacky-ness. I've been using this a lot as my skin feels a little dehydrated these days. It gives me instant hydration though I need a few layers of this to get the best level of hydration for my skin.

Last week I accidently got a small cooking oil burn on my forehead lol, and this actually helps to heal it faster and strangely there is minimal scarring too, weird indeed but I'm happy with the results. So yes I would definitely recommend this!
