L de Lolita Lempicka

L de Lolita Lempicka was launched in 2006 and the fragrance was created by perfumer Maurice Roucel. The bottle was designed by Sylvie de France. From the perfume ad and the aquamarine, pebble heart shaped bottle with the golden net, this perfume reminds me a lot of the deep blue ocean and mermaids. Even though I have an affinity for mermaids, I'm not too fond of aquatic scent, which is why I steer clear from this perfume for years, thinking it as another harsh clean scent.  The only reason why I got this is because of the bottle, it's been discontinued for years and I wanted to get this before it's gone. So imagine my surprise when I first tried it on. Instead of being bombarded with screechy and sharp aquatic scent, I was left with a delicious oriental vanilla scent that conjures images of Christmas baking. I immediately regret not getting a full bottle of this years before it's been discontinued, lol. Top Notes Bitter orange,   Bergamot

I love mid 90s and early 2000s perfumes, there's a nostalgic feel to them and I enjoy discovering scents from those decades. So I decided to try out Calvin Klein Euphoria EDP. Despite it's popularity, I have never taken a sniff of it. The perfume notes sounds amazing though and I'm definitely into dark, mysterious, sensual scents, so I have high hopes for this.

The first subscription for Scentses + Co comes with a free black travel case. I love the overall look of the sleek, elegant black case, the design is quite sturdy and the size makes it perfect for travel. The monthly subscription also came with my selected perfume's introductory card.

Twisting the case will reveal the sprayer at the top. A quick spray and I knew I made the right choice in selecting this perfume. This smells absolutely amazing! The opening is a burst of juicy pomegranates and exotic flowers, with a predominant woody notes. There's an androgynous vibe to it, especially as it dries down. Warm, sultry and sensual, this is great as a signature scent. 

8ml atomizer bottle is perfect for a month usage as it roughly gives around 120 sprays, that's 3-4 sprays per day, which I find sufficient especially for perfumes with strong silage. The atomizer bottle can be easily removed from the travel case, just pull it off once you have twisted the case to reveal the sprayer. 

The inner box packaging also works as a perfume stand, flip it and you'll get your own personalized fragrance wardrobe. Well that's definitely convenient! 

Scentses + Co offers a no commitment policy. You can easily skip a month or pause the subcription. 'Skip a month' button will not charged you for the month, but the subcription will automatically resume the next month unless you pause or cancel the subcription. If you click 'Pause' the subcription, there will be no recurring orders nor any charge being made until you  manually click 'Resume' the subcription.
